My Experience
Startup
My experience with startups began with my first job at IDEO, where I integrated into a team at Pivotal Labs. There, I helped design truly life-changing software for social workers. More recently, I've designed interfaces for a clinical trial SaSS startup that aims to reduce the social disparities plaguing clinical data collection and widen the accessibility and medical diversity of clinical trials.
agency
I've worked with creative teams in TV and social to integrate digital products for Cadillac and other clients. My work at Rokkan created holistic user experiences that combined brand value that typically lives outside an online experience.
consultancy
While at IDEO, I was able to design user experiences for a large variety of unique clients spanning diverse industries and scale of execution. Team members throughout my consultancy experience have varied widely in their focus expertise: biology, philosophy, political science, medicine, and finance. I participated in work that imagines drone futures for emergency response and world-building, developing future-concept video streaming prototypes for HBO, and helping the United States State Department with its mission.
Contract
Contractual work can be rewarding, as it can produce work that may not fit neatly into a 9-5 career path. I spent most of it looking at consumer behaviors and what impact these future trends may have on businesses. These projects focused on generating intellectual property for Xerox Parc, designing packaging for Areaware, or conducting trend forecasting for London-based forecaster Canvas8.
